Frequently asked questions
Is there an official GTA 6 PC version?
Not yet. Rockstar has announced GTA 6 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026. No PC release date or official PC requirements exist, so every PC figure here is an estimate based on console-class hardware and past Rockstar PC ports.
Can my PC run GTA 6?
Use the checker above. As a rule of thumb, a GTX 1660 Super / RX 5600 XT class GPU with 16 GB of RAM and an SSD is treated as the minimum, an RTX 3080 / RX 6800 XT class setup as high, and an RTX 4080 / RX 7900 XTX class setup with 32 GB of RAM and an NVMe drive as ultra.
Can I run GTA 6 on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S?
Yes — GTA 6 is built for both consoles, so no hardware check is needed there.
How accurate is this checker?
It is a planning tool, not a benchmark. Once Rockstar publishes official PC requirements, the tiers here will be updated to match.
